It is a blessing for a child to receive a solid academic education accompanied by a solid formation in the Catholic faith! The Catholic school advantage is reflected in the philosophy that permeates the total education program and the lives of the faculty and students. This philosophy challenges students to improve the world by sharing Gospel values and living Christ’s message of salvation. They grow to understand the roots of their faith and their responsibilities as Christians. As a faith community, Catholic Schools emphasize values that encourage students to accept others rather than exclude them, to understand the difference between right and wrong, and to commit themselves to serve God by serving others.
There are 50 Catholic elementary schools located within the Archdiocese of Newark. If you are a registered and active parishioner of St. Andrew's Parish, you are eligible for a significant tuition discount at any one of the Catholic Schools within the Archdiocese.
The Archdiocese of Newark offers tuition assistance through the Scholarship Fund for inner-city Children, and many of our schools may also offer financial assistance to families who qualify. To inquire about assistance at individual schools, please contact the school office directly.
